All of our courses are based on one year.
The courses will begin in June / July and will run to the following July - encompassing one academic year (September - July).
We realise how difficult it is for teachers in the new term, so we start our courses in the previous academic year, so all participants have the chance to access induction materials, prior to the beginning of the new school term.
No.
All of the expenses needed to deliver our courses are factored into the price you pay. We try to keep our costs as low as possible, through ensuring that we have a minimum number of participants on every course, at each venue.
Yes.
You do need to ensure that there is a face-to-face venue near you, before accepting a place onto any of our courses. All of our courses are designed to ensure progress across the year and all participants need to engage in all elements of the course.
Yes.
This would obviously be at your expense for any travel and accommodation, but if you have this option, you are welcome to onboard onto any of our courses. You must ensure though that you will be available on the dates selected, and are able to travel either side of the dates, as you cannot complete the course if you do not attend all of the face-to-face elements.
Our courses are designed to take the worry and stress away from your leadership within school. Our courses will ensure that you have in-depth learning and development opportunities across the year in a specific area, depending on your choice of course.
Of course, you will still need to engage in any specific professional development relating to your school policies and procedures, but we have your personal professional learning covered for the year.
Yes.
You will need two elements from your school:
1. School-based mentor or critical friend (course specific)
2. Time to attend the face-to-face events
If you have questions about the opportunities available in our courses, feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
As we work internationally, our hours vary to suit the needs of our delivery and partners.
Our general working hours are:
Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm (UK)
Saturday - Sunday: Closed
As we work across the international sector, you may find that we respond out of the above working hours.
Please do not feel that you need to respond to any communication from Next Gen Teaching outside of your professional working hours - everyone needs a break!
